PolyClean Centre -
The History
PolyClean
have provided a centre for the care and cleansing of textiles since the early
1970's from its current location, opposite Penzance Train Station.
PolyClean
have provided such a service longer than any other current laundrette in
Penzance.
We
offer Self-Service washing using Electrolux (a household name)
equipment, and self-service drying using gas-powered dryers.
We
now have a 36lb Electrolux (3 times the volume) washing machine for public
use, large enough for any of your Duvet requirements.
In
addition, we have invested in the latest technology from Electrolux, with our
12 digitally controlled gas dryers.
With
effect from Christmas 2001, we offer two broadband internet access PC’s,
with Microsoft Office, printing, scanning, digital photography processing and
CD burning – no more getting bored while you wait for your laundry to finish –
go on-line and browse, or email your friends!
PolyClean
now offer a full Dry Cleaning service, utilising the latest technology
to provide a fist class clean, together with being able to clean a much
greater range of garments than was previously available.
We
also offer a Repairs & Alterations service.
Again,
in mid 2001, PolyClean will offer a Contract Laundry facility for the
treatment of hotel/guesthouse laundry (bed linen etc.), including guest
laundry (garments). This will be in addition to the current service wash
facility available to the public. We also offer the Ironing of laundered
garments, both for contract and public laundry.
We
have added to our range, with a wide selection of Dylon products
available (dyes, stain removal products, sprays etc.).
